On Wednesday, April 21st Ace Enders will be performing at JMU for the first time in his career. Ace got his start in the small town of Hammonton, New Jersey, when he and his three best friends formed The Early November in 2001. The Early November quickly took over the pop punk scene and once signed to Drive Thru Records they began touring with some of their biggest influences. A few of these bands include The Starting Line, Saves The Day and Copeland.
While touring and recording with The Early November, Ace began writing new music that didn’t seem to fit with his old band anymore. This new material sparked a side project called I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business. Their first CD was released in 2004 and took the folk/indie scene by storm.
In early 2006 Ace married his high school sweetheart Jennifer Rock and in early 2009 they found out that they would be having their first baby, a little boy, in September. At this time Ace had been concentrating mostly on recording a producing for other bands. In between starting a new family and producing he still found time to release a CD for his second side project Ace Enders And A Million Different People.
Ace recently decided to return to touring with I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business and they just released their second CD, The World We Know on March 23rd. Which Ace believes is his best CD to date and has never been more proud of an album.
Ace Enders will be performing in Taylor Down Under on April 21st at 8pm. Opening for Ace is a band that he recently produced a CD for named Echo Screen. Hope to see you all there!
